Bobcat Work FAQ

Straight answers to the questions we hear most from Western Mass homeowners.

How much does bobcat work cost per hour?

Our standard bobcat rate runs $175-$225 per hour with operator, one-hour minimum. Rate varies by machine size and whether we provide the materials. Most small residential jobs (grade/level/move pile) are 2-4 hours. We quote flat-rate for defined projects when we can.

Can you access my back yard with a narrow gate?

Our mini skid steer fits through a 36-inch gate. Our compact track loader needs 48 inches. Larger bobcats need 72 inches. Tell us your narrowest access point and we'll match the right machine.

Will the equipment damage my lawn?

We use rubber tracks on most machines — minimal turf damage. On wet or sensitive lawns we lay plywood paths. For heavy-traffic jobs we grade-repair and overseed at job end. We aim to leave the lawn better than we found it.

Do you do stump grinding and removal?

Yes. We grind down 6-12 inches below grade, haul away chips, and can optionally bring in fill, topsoil and seed to restore to lawn. Single residential stumps typically $150-$450 depending on diameter.

Can you deliver loam, mulch, or stone?

Yes. We deliver and spread — screened loam, triple-ground mulch (black/brown/hemlock), 3/4" crushed stone, pea stone, and river rock. Pricing includes delivery within our service area.

Do you handle site prep for sheds, pools, or additions?

Regularly. Clearing, grading, removing old structures, hauling debris, prepping pad. We coordinate with your shed/pool/contractor so the site is ready when they roll in.
